Sofima proposal accepted by the customer

  • New core preparation table :
    • motorised table that translates to 2 positions: an operator loading position and a robot unloading position
    • 2 fixtures to position two assemblies of cores
    • Positioning movements to facilitate manual loading by the operator and allow automatic assembly
    • Blowing and collecting sand
    • Safety - sectional door integration and machine safety
  • New automated core setting system:
    • new grippers: inflatable rubber hand - part presence sensors + X-Y compliance and Z rotation
    • programming existing core setting robots
  • Part unloading: new automatic unloading shovel systems
  • Adapting peripheral equipment:
    • New handling devices
    • Existing parts descender
    • Lifting table for core trolleys
  • PLC replacement - from Allen-Bradley to Siemens
