Grippers
Internally designed and manufactured, each gripper is developed from customer specifications and based on our experience in the foundry applications.Customers are integrated from the start of the design of each gripper and throughout its development in order to obtain equipment that best meets the requirements (process, maintenance, ergonomics, etc.) of the application for which it is used.
Good to know
Pouring gripper
- Ladle rotation managed using numerical axis with closed loop control
- Low backlash gearbox and backlash compensation system to ensure accuracy and repeatability over time
- From few Hectograms up to several tens of KG of metal transported with each casting
- Up to 4 fully independent ladle rotation arms on the same gripper (possibility to add more on request)
Core setting gripper
- Gripping by air nipples (inflatable or deformable) and/or by pneumatic grippers with shaped jaws specially adapted for core prints
- Linear compliance of the gripper in X; Y and Z and rotating around Z
- On-board core blower used when picking up and depositing cores
- Gripping conditions (speed, gripping force) adjustable
Extraction gripper
- Gripping with pneumatic grippers with shaped jaws specially adapted to the cast part prints or on shared gripping areas (multi-product production)
- Linear compliance of the gripper in X; Y and Z and rotating around Z
- Integrated die blowing
- Gripping conditions (speed, gripping force) adjustable
- Single or multiple grippers (for multi-product production without shared gripping surfaces between references)
